Emre Houser is running as an Independent candidate, beholden ONLY to the voters of Idaho, for a seat that has been too long held by career politician, Mike Simpson.
Emre served our country for over 27 years and has been an Idaho business owner for more than 15 years. His “career” has always been serving the people of the United States and developing ways to be of service to the people of Idaho.
Emre has made Idaho his home for nearly 30 years. He has always appreciated the friendly and kind nature of Idahoans; even when disagreements arose. He believes that the Idahoans he grew to love still exist. This is just one of the reasons why he has stayed and made Idaho his home.
Emre has been a small business owner in Idaho for over 15 years. Much of these 15+ years were in conjunction with serving our nation at home and abroad.
Emre believes in getting away from the culture wars and returning the focus back to helping the citizens of Idaho and our nation with the common issues currently facing all of us.
Emre joined the Air Force in 1995 with a desire to see the world and was stationed at Mountain Home AFB after tech school in March of 1996. During his years of Active Duty, he deployed to Saudia Arabia and Bahrain. He decided to separate from Active Duty and joined the Idaho National Guard here in Boise in 1999.
His service in the Idaho National Guard included multiple deployments to include Operation Iraqi Freedom in March 2003.
Emre’s service to our country contributes to his ability to successfully work through our shared concerns and lead Idaho into our future.
